Bare website, bear with

Those who know me are aware of my lack of competence in all things technological. I make no apologies for this, it is not part of my skill set.

However, I have just had to get a clever tech chappie to do some website host things and it has resulted in my website appearing very bare and losing a lot of its colour. The content is still there fortunately but the lovely artwork seems to have disappeared into the ether. The font has changed too.

My apologies for all of this, I am still very much here and offering healing hypnotherapy sessions in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Do please contact me if you would like to book an appointment.

I am going to be updating my website over the next little while but if you can bear with me in the meantime, that would be great.

I have just found out that it happens to be World Brain Day today, this was established by the World Federation of Neurology in 2014 and it is supported by the World Health Organization. This year’s theme is Brain Health for All Ages and it supports the idea that brain care is a lifelong pursuit. Although there is so much that we do not know about our brains, we do know that good nutrition and exercise as well as finding ways to deal with stress (through meditation or self-hypnosis for example) can keep our brains healthy. It is important to realise that our brains are muscles that need to be exercised and cared for. They are not lumps of stone that never change but wonderful, adaptable organs that can evolve and grow new shoots through our lives.

Studies into hypnotherapy have shown how certain areas of the brain are affected positively during hypnosis. I often say to my clients that I would love to be able to do a scan of their brain during a session to see what is happening!

The area of my brain that deals with technology is not so bright (this tends to be the right side) but I like to think that the left hand side of my brain makes up for it in my creativity as a therapist.

Our brains are wonderful, aren’t they?

Do get in touch if you would like to find out hypnotherapy could help with your brain health.

best wishes,
